As Yard Mas revealed its funfair band premiere on Sunday, the Palace Cineplex at Sovereign Centre in Liguanea, St Andrew, came to life with stunning flair. In keeping with this year’s theme, ‘Land We Love’, the event, which was sponsored by Campari, was a celebration of Jamaica’s beauty, culture, and spirit. Showcasing eight costumes — The Lost City, Jewel of the Sea, Swallowtail, Jonkonnu, Hibiscus, Blue Majesty, Lignum Vitae, and Rehgeh — each design was a tribute to Jamaica’s heritage, its people, and its legacy.
