Thank you "Jackie" Minott!
The Manchester Parish Development Committee (MPDC) and its partners hosted an appreciation dinner in honour of John O. 'Jackie' Minott, managing director of Jamaica Standard Products, for his eight years of service as chairman of the MPDC on Saturday, November 20, at the Manchester Golf Club in Mandeville.
A large number of persons from the business community were in attendance, and they praised him for his leadership and role in making it the most successfully run parish development committee in the island. Among the achievements was the groundbreaking '2030 & Beyond Sustainable Development Plan'.
Keith Smith, chairman of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, said Minott's contribution is "critical to making the difference in Jamaica realising its future".
