Selvin Bailey and Richard Goldson have been carrying the torch of friendship since prep-school days.

How long have you both been friends?

Selvin: We have been friends for about 20 years ago. We met in preparatory school and even went to the same high school. However, we became really close when we started working in the same profession - computer technician.

Richard: In preparatory school, we met in grade three, and the friendship began to evolve from then.

Where is your friend likely to be when you cannot find him at work?

Selvin: Richard would be in the computer lab if he is not in his office.

Richard: Selvin would be at a school checking the computer system there.

If you both were asked to pick the last meal of each other's lives, what would the menu look like?

Selvin: I would definitely get an ackee loaf and a fruit punch. Homestyle juice for Richard (laughing) ... since his meals normally consist of that.

Richard: Selvin would be more than happy when I choose fry fish and a Magnum for him because this is what he regularly consumes (laughing).

When you both were growing up, what did you hope to pursue?

Selvin: I wanted to become a police officer to aid in the reduction of crime.

Richard: I was focusing on going into the medical field, where I could be of great help to others. However, it seems that though we both differed initially, our hearts beat in the same direction. As a result, we are in the same profession.

What would you both likely to get a girl for a gift?

Selvin: I would get her jewellery because the price and type of jewellery state how much I value the girl.

Richard: Definitely jewellery. That is a subtle way to charm them.

If you both could travel back in time and meet each other as 10-year-olds, what advice would you give?

Selvin: Richard, be cautious in relationships and always expect the unexpected, especially from girls.

Richard: I would tell Selvin to be vigilant in relationships and never give a girl his heart to keep in a relationship.
