The perfect wedding!

Now this is how a wedding is supposed to be.
No long faces, no boring rhetoric and no grumpiness from anyone. That is what happened as Belinda Barrett and Christopher Robinson tied the matrimonial knot on Saturday September 25. The groom was more than cool; he was Hawaii in the summer time, joking with guests and even showing off a few dance moves inside the University of the West Indies Chapel, Mona, in St Andrew.
As guests arrived, there was no tension or nervous wait, just looking forward to seeing the woman of the hour. The wedding invitation said 4 p.m. and, unlike some brides, Barrett was in no mood to keep her beau and her guests waiting long. Soon enough, the white Mitsubishi Pajero rolled up with the belle inside. With a blast of the trumpet and sounds of the piano, all rose for her arrival, the blushing bride firmly supported by dad Winston Barrett.
Officiating Minister Rev Al Miller was his usual self as he joked with the couple and the accommodating gathering. He was the perfect man for such a joyous occasion. But he seriously pointed out to the couple that real love was about serving each other, and extending that service to the wider community. He told Barrett and Robinson that, "this is the greatest personal assignment of your life", and asked them to show their generation that love can work.
After presenting them as man and wife, the pair (followed closely by bridesmaids and groomsmen) were whisked away to Hope Gardens for the bridal party photos, before the reception at an immaculately adorned The Malvern (on Mark Way, Cherry Gardens).
Cocktails were by the pool area with a scrumptious dinner to follow.
