So by the time you start reading this, you may have only just vacated your hiding spot underneath the bed. Things are slowly getting close to normal around here, but the stress of the past few days still lingers.

However, while all manner of savagery was unleashed across parts of Kingston, St Andrew and St Catherine last week, life in other parts of the island continued at its usual pace. If only there were fewer troubling events going on, more of us could spend time enjoying the things that make being Jamaican so great. Here are a few shots I took in different parts of the country while life crumbled in the Corporate Area. Hopefully, it will help bring a smile to your face and give you reason to work toward a better tomorrow.
