XARS Equipment & Trucking Co Ltd is playing a key role in Jamaica’s post–Hurricane Melissa relief efforts, providing essential logistical and warehousing support to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF/Doctors Without Borders) as the organisation delivers medical and water-treatment supplies to some of the hardest-hit communities.

With MSF launching humanitarian operations across the island, the need for secure, reliable local logistics became critical. XARS has stepped in to ensure that incoming relief supplies are safely stored, managed, and prepared for timely distribution.

“Our team understands the urgency of this moment,” said Xan Gibson, general manager and director of XARS Equipment & Trucking Co Ltd. “When an organisation like MSF arrives to help our country, we have a responsibility to support their work in every way we can. We are proud to contribute to an effort that is directly helping families recover.”

MSF’s response includes the deployment of essential medical items and water-treatment supplies for communities facing shortages in the aftermath of the storm.

XARS Equipment & Trucking Co Ltd said it remains committed to supporting Jamaica’s recovery and stands ready to assist partners working to rebuild affected areas.
