A national of Honduras has been charged with illegal entry after he was seen wandering in Spanish Town, St Catherine yesterday.

The man has been identified as Rodolfo Enrique Delcid Olin, 45, of La Ceiba, Atlántida in Honduras.

Delcid Olin was observed walking along Church Street in Spanish Town about 11 a.m., reports say. He was approached by police, and checks revealed that he was a foreign national.

Delcid Olin allegedly told investigators that he and others had come to Jamaica to fish for lobsters. He said he had been left on Pedro Cay by his colleagues, who did not return for him.

He was subsequently arrested and charged.
