Raising a toast to celebrate the 249th anniversary of the United States of America’s independence, Charge d’Affaires Amy Tachco warmly welcomed friends, colleagues, and allies to the lawns of the US Embassy in St Andrew for an early Fourth of July soirée. The elegant ‘garden chic’ affair drew scores of Jamaican politicians, dignitaries, socialites, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, civil society leaders, and private sector partners, each adding their own spin to the festive atmosphere.
