The King’s House ballroom provided the ideal setting for the National Chorale of Jamaica’s (NCOJ) Medal of Excellence Awards Ceremony. Under the patronage of Governor General Sir Patrick Allen, the event honoured individuals who have made significant contributions to Jamaica’s classical music scene and the chorale’s cultural mission. Throughout the evening, the NCOJ delighted attendees with performances of Live a Humble (arranged by Jester Hairston), Ole Time Religion (arranged by Moses Hogan and adapted by Benjamin Harlan), and Dance Alleluia by Arnold Freed.
