JTA votes to accept Govt's salary offer

The Jamaica Teachers' Association (JTA) has said that its General Council voted yesterday to accept the latest salary offer from the Government to public sector teachers.

The JTA said that it has communicated this decision to the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service and anticipates signing the heads of agreement next week.
