Rum Day Celebration
This year’s National Rum Day celebrations will culminate today with a free concert, Appleton Estate Murray’s Chillin’ in Clarendon, which will feature performances to remember by entertainers Maxi Priest and Wayne Marshall.
Jamaica Live Concert
The first concert in the series being produced by Jamaica Live takes place on Saturday starting at 6:00 p.m. at Serengeti, located at Hope Gardens. Performers include Ken Boothe; Sugar Roy; Conrad Crystal and the Fireball Crew; Bonafide from Las Vegas; Don Dada and Seed, platinum artistes from South Africa; Esco Da Shocker; Phillipidon and Skill from Houston, Texas; Reggae Power House Band. Backing band: Kaushion.
Gospel Concert – Unity In The City
Unity in the City takes place on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the National Stadium and will feature performances by Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, Travis Greene, Marion Hall, Fred Hammond, Rhoda Isabella, Jermaine Edwards, Rondell Positive, Ian ‘Ity’ Ellis, Mr Hansone & Zazan Zazan.
