The Jamaica AIDS Support for Life wants the Data Protection Act to provide "...a more deliberate effort in the wording of the Act to protect people's health information, sexual orientation and HIV status... is for legislation to "PROTECT" and not "RECORD". JASL's continues to protect its clients and their health records as well as to ensure that all Jamaicans, particularly the most vulnerable are protected.
